Sand Volleyball

We enjoy playing sand volleyball with our buddies when we go back to Utah. Our kids take advantage of all the time they get to see their Uncle Nate. They love you Nate!!!

Hotel Fun!

When we drive back to Utah we like to stay in a hotel with a pool! It makes the 2 day drive so much better!

First Day Of Kindergarten

Austin was so excited to go to his first day of school. I was excited too but was definitely more sad than I thought I would be.

It's Been Awhile

I did a really good job posting on my blog for the first few months on the year and then did terrible :( I will try to post a few times a month. I am going to just post a bunch of pictures from over the summer. In a nutshell here is what we have been up to though: Austin is playing flag football for the first time! He just started Kindergarten and he LOVES it! Carson is starting to talk in 2-3 word sentences :) wahoo! He is doing a little preschool/ letter group with some kids in our ward. Jared and I got a golf pass this year and have LOVED going as much as we can fit it in. The kids have their own clubs and hit/putt too! Jared is teaching two classes and doing research this semester. His knee is getting stronger but still gets sore. He did go wakeboarding on Monday so it's he was happy to be able to do that. I got called to be the Young Women's president about a month ago! It has been a lot of fun. The young yomen in our ward are amazing!  

Rotten Talent

Jared and Austin were playing the Wii Super Mario Brothers and were on a really hard map. Jared was using a propeller but lost it. Jared said he would just have to rely on his "raw" talent to pass it. Austin started laughing and said "rotten talent". It was hilarious.

Beds Are Overrated

I went it to check on the boys before I went to sleep and this is what I found :) So much for the queen size bunk beds!

A Few House Pics......FINALLY!!

This is my upstairs living room. I want to add more decorations/art around the windows and tables. When I find the things I really I will update the pictures.

My favorite piece of furniture in the whole house!!! Thanks for the great table, Jar!!! I love it!!

      Hall bathroom for the little ones.

Master Bedroom: One day I hope to find nightstands to match the headboard :) And hopefully one day I will iron the bed skirt and comforter!!! Yikes!!!

Master Bedroom Curtains: I found this awesome woven fabric and backed with a border to make them more like "black out" curtains.

Landscape Attempt :)

I wanted something small and simple to line our driveway so we planted some daisies. I planted the little green plants last year. They are yellow lilies and should be getting bigger everyday and blooming over the next  few weeks! We also added some solar lights :)

So this is a work in progress :) The small green plants are hostas and I just planted those. They will grow pretty quick. I still need to dig out my little rose bushes that didn't make it the through the winter.
