If It......

Yesterday the boys and I were out running errands. Austin saw a dog in a yard that kind of looked like Copper but wasn't a yellow lab. He thought it was so cute. I told him that it did look like Copper but that it wasn't a yellow lab. He said, "Mom; if it LOOKS like a lab, if it SMELLS like a lab, if it POOPS like a lab; then IT'S a lab!"

Austin's New Scarf

Whenever we go to the store and walk by a soft blanket, pillow, towel, etc... Austin always touches them. Then he says "WOW! Mom you gotta feel this". If I decline he will say whatever it takes to convince me that this item is the softest thing ever until I finally touch it. After my little sewing night with my friends I was showing Austin what I made. He said "when are you going to make something for me?" I asked him what he wanted me to sew for him and he said, "a scarf". So I went and found the softest fleece I could find and sewed him his very own scarf that even matched his coat! He wears it every time he goes outside and is so proud of "His Scarf".

Family Night With Bear Grylls!

One of Jared's and Austin's favorite things to do is watch Man vs Wild on the Discovery starring Bear Grylls. I'll admit I like it too :) Bear is always eating these disgusting bugs and such. Jared had a fun idea to watch an episode and then make fun bugs and creatures to eat....just like Bear :) It was great!

Jared's Recovery

Jared's surgery went great! Thank you for all of your prayers :) Here are just a few pictures of some "Get Well" gifts Jared was given! His physical therapy is going well and he is making process. He is uncomfortable most of the time but went to work last week and trying to make the best of it. WE LOVE YOU JARED!!!
